Boston, Mass.—September 18, 2018—Health Dialog announced today that its Nurse Line has received certification from the National Committee for Quality Assurance for Health Information Product (HIP): Health Information Line. Health Dialog’s Nurse Line provides live, 24/7 access for patients to a registered nurse. The NCQA HIP certification process is a voluntary review process governed by NCQA’s rigorous Standards for Certification, developed with the assistance of representatives from industry as well as input from health plans. Health Dialog’s Nurse Line has been NCQA-certified since 2008.

The Nurse Line never uses a call-back system and patients can access services through secure messaging or web chat. Nurse Line staff have deep expertise in educating and engaging diverse populations. Spanish-speaking patients can speak directly with health coaches in their native language while live interpretation services are available for more than 200 languages.
NCQA certification includes rigorous evaluations conducted by a team of health care professionals. A national oversight committee of physicians analyzes the team’s finding and determines certification based on the HIP organization’s compliance with NCQA standards.
