To ensure maximum impact, we engage the Pathways Engine, our predictive analytics and machine learning platform. Our Pathways Engine utilizes over 600 data points, including Rite Aid’s pharmacy transaction database, to identify individuals at-risk for medication nonadherence. We also integrate socio-economic and socio-demographic factors, as well as other clinical identifiers and social determinants of health to ensure we select the most appropriate individuals to target. Additionally, we identify the individuals who are most receptive to interventions and the interventions they are most likely to respond to.

We monitor Rite Aid’s pharmacy transaction database weekly to identify new individuals for outreach and measure incremental changes in refill rates.
